Product range of HUUM includes round sauna stones with a diameter of 5–10 cm / 2-4 in. Olivine diabase sauna stones are enduring and their thermal capacity is high. It’s recommended to use round sauna stones in HUUM sauna heaters. Round stones complement the design of the heaters and provide milder steam.
You regulate the heat and steam of the sauna by throwing water on the sauna rocks. The shape, size and composition of the stones, and their placement in the heater make all the difference. We recommend round sauna rocks because they provide milder steam. The round shape ensures that the water reaches inner stones and evaporates gradually instead of vaporizing in one go from the top layer. Sauna rocks are highly visible in HUUM sauna heaters, and you’ll need smaller and larger stones for filling the heater evenly without noticeable gaps. We suggest stacking a denser top layer with slightly smaller stones. This enhances the accumulation of heat.
