On top of this, the larger models diameters give you over seven feet of headroom and deeper benches that, unlike rough cedar, are milled from Nordic softwood to ensure every surface is smooth and never too hot.
Functional Design
Thermory Barrel Saunas are larger than standard barrel saunas. The interior of the most spacious models give you more than seven feet across. This allows plenty of height for standing and deeper benches for lying down.
Rot Resistence
Thermory Saunas are constructed with a keystone stave at the top and bottom. These allow the remaining staves to point upward to reduce the potential of water being trapped in the gaps. So, you get 25 years of worry-free rot resistance.
Thickness & Strength
The staves on a Thermory sauna are 1.57″ thick, which is thicker than most saunas in the barrel sauna market. This gives you much greater durability and heat retention as well as aids in minimizing noise outside your sauna.
Color Retention
The color of Thermory Nordic spruce transforms into a distinguished silver when exposed to sunlight and rain. But if you want to preserve your sauna’s natural color, simply treat the boards with a penetrating UV protective oil.
